The Ka-Bar TDI Law Enforcement Knife was designed by John Benner of the Tactical Defense Institute for close quarter defense. It was originally envisioned as a last option weapon for law enforcement. When a suspect is attempting to take an officers gun or the officer cannot access their gun this knife becomes essential to survival. The curved design and substantial grip offer excellent leverage raking slashing or striking which forces an attacker away and off of you.
