This revolutionary design, featuring a retractable part of the blade within the handle, traces its roots back to the late ’90s when a similar concept called the Phoenix, equipped with a button lock mechanism, was introduced by Masters Of Defense. The Black Box takes this idea to new heights, undergoing a complete redesign, from its shape to the locking mechanism and sheath, delivering a cutting-edge product.

The Black Box concept offers users the convenience of carrying a 4″ fixed blade with only 1.5″ exposed, providing both functionality and safety. The sheath, ingeniously designed to hold the blade’s tip, automatically extends the blade as the knife is drawn. A patent-pending mechanism securely locks the blade in the open position, and when disengaged, the blade smoothly retracts into the handle, allowing for easy and safe reholstering in the sheath. It’s crucial to follow this sequence for a trouble-free experience.

The sheath includes a versatile clip for securing it to garments or gear, enhancing the user’s carry options. The aluminum ring, another innovative feature, can be positioned vertically, horizontally, or removed entirely (patent pending).
